Interview over Zoo Tycoon DS

De Duitse website PlanetDS.de heeft een interview gehouden met Jason Garwood, die momenteel namens THQ aan een Nintendo DS versie van Zoo Tycoon werkt. Wat had deze man te melden? Onze Duitse collega's van PlanetDS.de hebb gesproken met de Associate Project Manager van THQ, Jason Garwood. Een van de projecten waar hij momenteel aan werkt is Zoo Tycoon DS, daar gaat het interview dan ook over. Er werd hem onder andere gevraagd wat de belangrijkste verschillen zijn met de PC versie. Hierop antwoordde Garwood:

"Well, the DS is quite different from the PC just in terms of the CPU and memory (this is to be expected in that it's a handheld unit), but where the DS may lack in power it makes up for it in personality. The DS is the perfect platform for adapting a game like Zoo Tycoon PC to a handheld due mostly to the fact that it affords us much more flexibility through the touch screen functionality. Aside from fact that it's a little easier to carry around a DS than a PC, I think that Zoo Tycoon DS has all the gameplay and features of the PC game. Off course there are differences, but I don't think that the player is going to see a very big gap between the PC and DS when it comes to gameplay."
