Nintendo geeft antwoord

"Not at launch. Until Spring, we'll have a supply limitation, so we want to avoid the situation where people don't buy because their favorite color isn't available. We'll provide new colors after that. Our aim is a design that's not scary." "He was originally left handed. However, there will be more users who swing the controller with their right hand, so we made Link hold the sword in his right hand. By the way, in the GameCube version of Twilight Princess, Link is left handed." We're thinking of something where you use your Mii for communication. We don't have a name, but as an image, it's something like Wii Mixi." (Mixi is Japan's most popular social network, with over 3 million registered users) Verder werd er nog het volgende gezegd door Iwata over de vergelijking tussen de Nintendo DS (Lite) en de Wii; Iwata, while admitting that the Wii is console gaming's answer to DS, noted that there are differences between the two. "The popularity of the DS will does not ensure the popularity of the Wii," he said. As reason for this, he noted that the Wii, unlike the DS, must be used in front of a television. With the DS, Nintendo was able to get publicity and word-of-mouth simply because players walk around with the unit in their hand. For the Wii, "getting people to notice the PR campaigns will be difficult." To get around this problem, Nintendo asked a number of questions. "How do we get people who aren't into games to give it a try," asked Iwata. "How do we get the entire family to not ignore it or look at it suspiciously, but to accept it? How do we get people to turn it on every day as a part of their lives? What we're offering with Wii is the result of our thoughts on these matters." Bron: IGN
