Assist Trophies debuteren in Brawl!
Wat en hoe deze dingen te gebruiken zijn, lees je in dit bericht over de dubbele update op de Brawl site! Deze nieuwe week begint goed, want er is gekozen voor een dubbele update op de officiële Super Smash Bros. Brawl site! Vandaag gaat het allemaal op de zogenaamde 'Assist Trophies'. Deze capsules bevatten een character die je zal helpen in de strijd om je andere concurrenten uit te schakelen. Je ertegen verzetten zal niet mogelijk zijn. Hier treedt dan ook een nieuw hoofdstuk in de strijd aan: vluchten! Deze characters die uit de Assist Trophies zullen verschijnen kunnen van alles zijn en ongeacht de identiteit van jouw character kan je een sidekick verkrijgen zoals een Hammer Bro of zelfs de F-Zero piloot Samurai Goro. Natuurlijk loopt ook iedereen de kans een Nintendog als sidekick te bemachtigen welke deze vervolgens het gehele scherm onderkwispelt. Zie het als de Pokéballs in de voorgaande delen, alleen nu met characters die het net niet tot een voltallig personage hebben gehaald.
De tweede update wordt volledig besteed aan de bekende rivaal van Captain Falcon in de F-Zero serie: Samurai Goro.What are Assist Trophies? Well, these are characters who appear to aid the fighter that called them forth. Basically, they’re guest characters separate from Smash’s playable roster! Super Smash Bros. Brawl is sort of like a festival that all sorts of characters show up for. Bear in mind, though, that you can’t control any of the characters appearing on these pages. Let there be no mistake about that. Isn’t he cute! You’re probably thinking that a Nintendog is a pretty poor assistant, since it blocks your view, too. That’s fine. He’ll help calm your mental state. Assist Trophies allow you to enjoy even more characters who couldn’t quite make it as playable fighters. You may even see some that only the most dedicated fans will recognize, so you’ll have to look forward to them.

A reckless slasher of his enemies, Samurai Goro is not a man you want on your bad side. By the way, the majority of Assist Trophies are invincible. Trying to fight back is useless, so just run away.
