ESPionage, tegenwoordig bekend als Psi Ops, komt niet meer uit op de Gamecube. Eigelijk had Midway dit een tijdje geleden al min of meer bekend gemaakt. Ze hadden toen namelijk een persbericht vrijgegeven waarin stond dat ze geen nieuwe franchises zouden launchen op de console die nummer 3 stond wereldwijd. En dus is deze keer Psi Ops gecancelled voor de Gamecube. Midway kijkt duidelijk niet elke dag op onze site, want het is door iedereen bevestigd dat de Gamecube wereldwijd nummer 2 is. Players take on the role of Nick Scryer, an elite American Psi-Operative soldier who must combat The Movement, a fierce terrorist organization set to overthrow world order. Scryer must fight a deadly horde of brainwashed super soldiers by using his Psionic powers including - Telekinesis (lift and throw people and items using mental powers), Pyrokinesis (throw walls of fire), Mind Control (take control of another character's body) and many more. The only way for Scryer to stop The Movement and its Psi agents is to use his psionic powers and beat them at their own "mind game." Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy features a non-linear, open-ended game design, challenging players to use different powers and tactics to complete a specific task. During the action-packed gameplay, players will encounter enemies with sophisticated AI, forcing them to utilize their Psionic abilities in a strategic manner.
