Zoals ook in Melee kun je in Brawl ook trophies verzamelen, maar er is een geheel nieuwe manier van verzamelen toegevoegd! Net als een bekende serie, die toevallig ook uitgebreid vertegenwoordigd in deze game zit, is het de bedoeling om vijanden die je in het Subspace Emissary avontuur tegenkomt, significant te verzwakken om vervolgens door een 'trophy stand' naar ze toe te gooien, ze om te toveren tot een trophy die je kunt verzamelen.
