Konami komt met honkbal-game naar Wii
The Cages Pro-Style Batting is misschien niet de meest catchy titel, maar Konami gebruikt hem toch. The Cages Pro-Style Batting is vooralsnog enkel voor Amerika aangekondigd en gezien Mario Super Sluggers, een ander honkbalspel, hier nooit het licht heeft gezien is de kans klein dat deze titel wel over komt gevlogen. Echter, nooit geschoten is altijd mis en dus bij deze de informatie over deze nieuwe Wii-titel. The Cages Pro-Style Batting is een exclusieve Wii-titel die gebruik zal maken van mini-games om de honkbal-sport de speler eigen te maken. De mini-games zijn gericht op het raken van de bal en dus is het spel meer een simulatie dan een echte honkbal-game. De game maakt gebruikt van de Wii MotionPlus voor extra precisie, waardoor onder andere effect-ballen geen probleem moeten zijn om te raken. De game stelt je verder in staat je honkbalknuppel te pimpen en het op te nemen in een multiplayer tot vier spelers. Als spreekwoordelijke kers op de taart, kent de game ook nog een calorie-meter die bijhoudt hoeveel calorieën je verbrand hebt tijdens je beweging-sessies. De game moet deze maand nog in de Amerikaanse winkels liggen.
