Gamers Summit 2004

Grote namen aanwezig op de jaarlijkse Europese ELSPA gameshow waar we hopelijk nieuwe snufjes gaan zien... Zowel Nintendo als Sony en Microsoft hebben bevestigd aanwezig te zijn op de ELSPA Gamers Summit dit jaar. Gamers Summit is een van de hoogst aangeschreven gameshows in ons continent, waar developers en publishers jaarlijks bijeen komen om hun toekomstige titels te tonen. Vorig jaar toonde Nintendo o.a. Kirby Air Ride, Mario Kart: Double Dash!! en Mario Party 5. ELSPA moet nog beslissen wanneer ze de Gamers Summit dit jaar gaan houden, dus vanzelf sprekend geven we je een seintje als er iets nieuws over te melden is. Friday 20 February 2004 The insights and views of one of the founders of the Microsoft Xbox, the head of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and the European MD of Nintendo make up three of the keynote addresses at the computer and video games industry's main European conference, the annual ELSPA Games Summit. Kevin Bachus, president and chief operating officer of Infinium Labs and former founding member of the Xbox project team at Microsoft; David Reeves, now president of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and David Gosen, Nintendo's managing director, sales and marketing Europe have all been confirmed as keynote speakers for the event. The ELSPA Games Summit offers an open forum for anyone involved in driving the forward direction of the business to debate the strategic issues facing the industry. The inaugural 2003 Games Summit was deemed a great success by delegates and speakers alike with industry analysis, news announcements and strategic enterprise being heavily profiled during the event. Games Summit 2004 will be even broader in scope with contributions from industry leaders from USA, Europe and beyond, taking as its overall theme "New Technologies and New Strategic Directions: Managing Risk and Maximising Profit in a Convergent Entertainment World".
