Japanse verkoopcijfers 13/8 - 19/8 2012: Nintendo bezet de complete top 10

Nintendo grijpt de totale macht. Het was een prima weekje voor Nintendo in Japan, zeker in vergelijking tot vorige week. Afgelopen week werd de complete top 10 ingenomen door games voor een Nintendo systeem. Aangevoerd door New Super Mario Bros. 2 en Pokémon Black / White 2. Dragon Quest X weet in zijn derde week stand te houden op de derde plaats. Nog altijd zijn de verkoopcijfers voor een Dragon Quest game historisch laag, maar aangezien Square-Enix heeft aangegeven nog jarenlang ondersteuning voor de online RPG te bieden is het aannemelijk dat de verkoop van de game nog zeer lang zal aanhouden. De Nintendo 3DS LL (XL bij ons) blijft het zeer goed doen in Japan. De totale verkopen van de Nintendo 3DS XL passeren daar deze week zelfs de 100.000. 01./01.
