Enter the Players Choice

Enter the Matrix zal binnenkort te zien zijn in een mooi zilverkleurig doosje, voor maar 32,99! Atari's spel, Enter the Matrix, is een schoolvoorbeeld van hoe je een middelmatige game enorm goed kan laten verkopen door middel van goede reclame. Het spel scoorde namelijk nergens een 9 of hoger, maar verkocht wel meer dan 5 miljoen keer over de toonbank gegaan. Binnenkort zal Atari dus ook de mensen met een iets lichtere portomonee overhalen om de overhyped game te kopen, hij wordt namelijk Players Choice.

Atari is delighted to announce that Enter The Matrix, the blockbuster video game of 2003, is now available on PC, Xbox, GameCube and PS2 in the Classics, Player's Choice, and Platinum ranges. 

The PS2 and PC versions are new editions, updated to include two fantastic new mini-games. 

Developed by award-winning Shiny Entertainment (an Atari studio), Enter The Matrix is a revolution in interactive entertainment - a third-person action game that effectively blurs the line between Hollywood blockbuster films and next generation video games. The game is directed by and features a script written by the Wachowski brothers, writers/directors of The Matrix film trilogy, creating the most intensive collaboration between a video game publisher and a movie studio to date. Enter The Matrix includes approximately one hour of never-before-seen footage - shot exclusively for the game - using the actors, sets and crew from the blockbuster film, The Matrix Reloaded. In addition, the game features an hour of cineractives, directed by the Wachowskis and rendered within the game engine to help tell the epic story of Enter The Matrix.
