Japanse verkoopcijfers 9/10/2017 - 15/10/2017: slechte launch voor Lost Sphear

Lost Sphear, de nieuwe game voor de makers van I Am Setsuna, is uit in Japan en de cijfers liegen er niet om. Vorige week kwam de Super Famicom mini uit in Japan. De Japanse versie van de SNES mini ging volgens Media Create zo'n 340.000 keer over de Japanse toonbanken. Ook kwam Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions uit voor de Nintendo 3DS. Deze week verscheen er ook slechts één nieuwe game voor de Nintendo-systemen. Square Enix bracht het tweede spel van Tokyo RPG Factory, Lost Sphear, naar de Nintendo Switch. Na de slechte ontvangst van I Am Setsuna vorig jaar kreeg Lost Sphear niet veel liefde van de Japanse RPG-fans. Sony bracht een nieuwe versie van PlayStation VR uit met No Heroes Allowed! VR als launchtitel. Media Create houdt de verkopen van de VR-headset helaas niet bij, maar wel zien we een nette klassering voor deze lanceringstitel uit Sony's eigen Japan Studio. De Nintendo Switch maakte een normale week door. Nog twee weken totdat Super Mario Odyssey uitkomt en Japan weer massaal naar de winkels trekt om de game of misschien zelfs de hardwarebundel met het spel aan te schaffen. 1.
