Vijf nieuwe NfS Underground 2 DS screens

IGN: How much of the development of the GBA version went into the creation of the Nintendo DS game?

Ferguson: Not much! Once it became apparent that the DS was capable of so much more than the GBA, we re-wrote everything to take full advantage of the system. In the early days there was talk of bringing various components across, and we even had a direct port of GBA running on DS at one point, but it quickly became apparent that the DS was capable of so much more that it would be criminal not to push the system to its limits.
